The Finance Bar Presents

Camp Ca$hWeekend

2026 Sponsorship Prospectus

October 16–18, 2026 • Long Cove Marina, Lake Wylie, SC • 10 minutes from Charlotte

The Opportunity

Over 500 women applied in 48 hours. Thirty got in. Half of them are flying across state lines to attend.

Camp Ca$h Weekend is an intimate financial wellness retreat hosted by Marsha Barnes, CFSW — one of the few Certified Financial Social Workers in the country and founder of The Finance Bar. Tickets were $1,150. The waitlist closed at over 500 women within two days of opening. Cabins sold out.

Fifteen of the thirty attendees are traveling from out of state. These women are buying flights and clearing a full weekend to sit with their financial lives in a room full of strangers. That is not casual interest. That is unmet need at a scale the financial industry has not answered.

And the reason they gave for signing up is the most useful sentence a marketer could ask for:

“Money is not the issue. Time is. I never have time to work on my finances.”

By the numbers

Reach Well Beyond the Room

Thirty women are in the cabins. Marsha Barnes speaks to hundreds of thousands more — and a Camp Ca$h sponsorship reaches all of them.

This audience is not rented. It has been built over years by a practitioner who is trusted with the most private thing people have: their relationship with money. Access to it is not available through conventional media buying.

Who Is in the Room

  • 30 attendees — sold out, 500+ waitlist
  • Black women, ages 35–53
  • Household income range: $85,000–$175,000
  • $1,150 per ticket — self-selected, financially committed
  • 15 of 30 traveling from out of state

In their own intake notes, attendees described stepping into the caregiving stage — supporting aging parents and adult children at the same time. They named life insurance and power of attorney as pressing concerns, and asked for a direct path through them. This is the sandwich generation, at peak earning power, actively looking for guidance and not finding it.

The Program

Featured conversations and workshops across the weekend center on financial discernment, emotional relationships with money, intentional living, wealth preservation, and personal transformation. Alongside them: guided discussions, restorative activities, communal dining, movement, and personal development moments designed to support the whole person.

Three of these sessions are available for naming rights: Planning in the NOW Season, What Remains, and Less, Yet Well. Financial Boundaries is not available for sponsorship.

Why This Works for More Than Financial Brands

Marsha Barnes is a financial therapist, not a product reviewer. Her expertise is in reducing the anxiety, shame, and avoidance that surround money — which means she can make almost any decision feel less stressful, not only the ones involving a financial product. That positioning makes her a credible partner across categories that ordinarily struggle to reach this audience with authenticity:

Financial services.

Life insurance, estate planning, banking, mortgage, and wealth platforms — the direct fit.

Health and wellbeing.

Therapy platforms, meditation and wellness apps, and women's health brands — the money-and-mental-health intersection is her core specialty and a genuinely differentiated one.

Home and housing.

Home improvement, homebuilding, energy, and furnishings — spending decisions carry emotional weight, and Marsha helps people make them without guilt.

Consumer and lifestyle.

Brands that want to be present in a moment of self-care and reflection rather than in a feed.

Why This Is Bigger Than a Weekend

Every tier is structured as a multi-month engagement anchored by the retreat, not a three-day activation.

Naming.

“Camp Ca$h Weekend, presented by [Brand]” across all event materials, signage, and communications; optional presenting association with the Camp Ca$h Counselors program

Podcast continuity.

Brand integration into The Money Wellness Podcast across Q4 and Q1, extending reach far beyond the 30 attendees. Marsha's stated preference is for integrated, ongoing partnerships rather than one-off placements.

Owned channel amplification.

Sponsor presence across Marsha's Instagram, newsletter, and The Finance Bar Club before, during, and after the weekend.

Network amplification.

Amplification across the Financial Influencer Network's roster of 33+ credentialed financial experts at no additional cost.

Full campaign management.

FIN manages the relationship end to end — scheduling, content review, compliance, expert coordination, and reporting — so the sponsor's team does not carry the operational load.

Sponsorship Tiers

All figures are all-inclusive of FIN professional services and campaign management. No additional agency or management fees apply.
